Science Serving Society
Research at the Center for Aquatic Conservation is wide-ranging, from risk assessment of aquatic invasive species to effects of global warming on coupled terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. By working closely with resource managers and stakeholders, researchers strive to ensure that their results are relevant to the issues that society holds important. These collaborations enhance communication among the scientific community and society and allow cutting-edge research results to be implemented to support the diversity of life and improve human welfare.
